James Bould (BSc BVMedSci BVMBVS MRCVS)
I joined LincVet in 2012 after qualifying at the University of Nottingham the previous year. At work I take a particular interest in ophthalmology cases and feline renal disease. I originate from Derbyshire and enjoy exploring the great outdoors in my spare time both on foot and by bike as well as being a keen photographer.
I qualified from the University of Bristol Veterinary School in 1982 and after five years working in different practices around the country I finally settled in LIncoln in 1987 and I’ve been here ever since.
I am the Senior Clinical Director at Lincvet, a role that combines treating patients whilst helping to manage the practice in the background.
Laura Bonsor (BvetMed MRCVS)
I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in July 2012, and started here at Lincvet in November of that year. I'm from Newark originally so I already knew lincoln well when I moved here. I have a boisterous border collie called Nev and a rescue cat called Jack, who keep me busy at home.
Marisa Vicente (MRCVS)
I graduated from the University of Lisbon in July 2015 and worked for a year in a Portuguese Veterinary Hospital. My desire to learn and grow brought me to the UK and I joined LincVet in January 2017. I have a rescue cat named Cacahuete which means peanut in Spanish. I am passionate about my job but also about travelling, swimming, trekking and everything that involves nature.
Mikel Unceta (MRCVS)
l qualified as a vet in Spain, then moved to the UK in 2001. I've been at Lincvet for the last ten years. In 2015 I became Joint Clinical Director and am currently working towards the BSAVA Certificate in Small Animal Surgery.
Emma Kilcourse (BVetMed MRCVS) Currently on maternity leave
I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2011 and joined Lincvet as a veterinary assistant. In 2015 I became Joint Clinical Director and I am currently working towards a small animal certificate. I grew up on a farm in Manchester and now enjoying living in Lincoln with my very handsome rescue cat Oliver, a gecko called Mabuya and an ever increasing number of tropical fish.
Ann Hopkirk (MA VetMB Cert SAO PG Cert SAM MRCVS)
I have worked in a variety of small animal practices since qualifying from Cambridge Veterinary School in 1990 and have gained two post graduate certificates in that time-one in orthopaedic surgery and, more recently, the BSAVA post graduate certificate in small animal medicine.
I have lived in Lincoln for 20 years and joined Lincvet in July 2015.
I have 2 children, 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 chickens and no spare time!
Eleni Kousiappi (MVDr. MRCVS)
I graduated from the University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences in Brno, Czech Republic in June 2016 and I'm originally from Cyprus. I joined LincVet in September of the same year, through the IVC New Graduate Academy.
I have a particular interest in exotic animals and behavioural medicine of dogs and cats. Looks like I am the only person in LincVet that doesn't have an animal at home, but I hope that will change soon!
